THE CIOMPI QUARTET CONCERT AT ST. MARY'S!
The excitement is building, and we hope you will join us this Sunday, March 22nd at 4pm in the Church (with reception to follow in Moseley Hall) as St. Mary's hosts the Ciompi Quartet of Durham, NC! This isn't just any concert...the Ciompi Quartet has delighted audiences and impressed critics world-wide! It was founded in 1965 by the renowned Italian violinist Giorgio Ciompi and continues to entertain with a career that spans five continents and includes many hundreds of concerts. The Ciompi Quartet has developed a reputation for performances of real intelligence and musical sophistication, with a warm, unified sound that allows each player’s individual voice to emerge. On April 30, 2025, Ciompi released a new album, marking Duke University’s Centennial Celebration, entitled "A Duke Moment" (take a listen here).
The concert will be free to the public, made possible by love offerings and sponsorships. This is such an exciting opportunity to bring music and concerts not only to St. Mary's but the entire community as well.
