LENTEN ALMSGIVING

Each Lent, our parish Outreach Committee selects an almsgiving effort for us to support as a church family. Almsgiving is the act of giving of one’s wealth for the benefit of others and is an integral part of a traditional observance of Lent. For years, the St. Mary’s community have chosen a single focus to pour into together each Lent.

Our Lent ministry partner is Friends of the Homeless and our goal is $1600. Designate your gift in person or online by writing “Lenten Almsgiving” in the memo. God bless you!

There are multiple ways that you may give to this Lenten practice:

• Bring your offering to the church office during business hours.
• Give online by clicking here. Be sure to write “Lenten Almsgiving” in the memo section.  

Checks may be made out to St. Mary’s Episcopal Church with "Lenten Almsgiving/Friends of the Homeless" in the memo line. God bless you!
