A Chili & Cornbread Cook-Off: A Souper Bowl of Caring to Support Mary's Kitchen
Come support the outreach efforts of St. Mary's Episcopal Church while enjoying an afternoon of food, fellowship, and fun! Join us for the return of the St. Mary's Chili and Cornbread Cookoff in Moseley Hall on Sunday, February 4th, following the 10:30am liturgy.
At the Chili & Cornbread Cook-Off, a donation of any amount gives you a taste of all the chili and cornbread entries as well as a ballot to vote for the winners! An expert panel will decide awards for Best in Show (chili & cornbread) and Most Original (chili only). At the 2024 Chili & Cornbread Cook-Off, our 100% completely impartial Expert Panel, consisting of Warren Brothers of Brothers Farm and Jessy Dawson of Middlegrounds Coffeehouse, will decide the overall chili and cornbread winners. The chili that receives the most money in its money box will win the People’s Choice award.
All proceeds benefit this year’s Lenten Almsgiving Focus: Backpack Buddies of Lenoir County. Enjoy!
