Epsicopal Youth Community

CelebrationYouth Ministry at St. Mary’s Church seeks to ground adolescents in their identity as beloved children of God, then help them experience true Christian community, and create holy spaces in their lives where God is encountered (i.e. worship, prayer, service). Youth ministry involves the whole congregation as we seek to know and relate to our young people and as we acknowledge and respect the ways young adults minister to our parish family.

Episcopal Youth Community (EYC) gathers youth in Sixth through Twelfth Grades for fun, fellowship, spiritual formation, worship, and service. EYC generally meets on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. in Moseley Hall or the Walter Cattle Youth Room.

Youth are also invited to participate in Diocesan Youth activities including Celebration, Middle/High School Conference, New Beginnings and Happening.

TreehouseYouth advisors serve an important role in EYC: leading, guiding, enabling and encouraging our young people. Advisors assist in planning and overseeing youth events with an emphasis on supporting youth leadership. The commitment of these dedicated people helps make our youth ministry relational and effective.
