Valentine's Love Feast
Plan now to be a part of the fabulous Valentines Love Feast sponsored by the St. Mary's Journey to Adulthood pilgrims (St. Mary's senior high Sunday school class). The perfect way to show some love to your sweetheart and the J2A pilgrims! The scrumptious dinner is scheduled for Sunday, February 12, at 6 p.m. in Moseley Hall.
The delicious menu includes: pork tenderloin, shrimp fettuccini, roasted new potatoes, green bean almandine, fresh tossed salad, hot rolls with butter, homemade dessert and choice of red or white wine. Proceeds from ticket sales will help the pilgrims raise the last bit of money they need for their trip this summer. A limited number of tickets will be sold at $30 per ticket so get your tickets now! Tickets will go on sale Sunday (January 22) immediately following the 10:00 a.m. service. Beginning Monday they will be on sale in the Parish Office. A special thank you to Mark Moore and Anne Lindley for helping with the meal.
SHROVE TUESDAY PANCAKE SUPPER
Join us on Tuesday, February 21st as our EYC young people hosts St. Mary’s Annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper in Moseley Hall from 5-7 pm. Youth need to arrive at 4 pm to help set-up and begin cooking. Adult volunteers are welcome, encouraged, and NEEDED! The cost of the dinner is $7 for adults and $4 for children under the age of 10. Proceeds from the dinner will be used for youth scholarships.
Classes & Activities...
Youth and Adult Choirs rehearse on Wednesday evenings at 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., respectively. All who sing are welcome.
SMEC offers educational opprtunities for all ages and you are invited to visit any of the groups/classes.
All classes meet immediately following the 10:00 a.m. service and end at 12:00 noon.
Nursery for young children
SMEC provides a staffed nursery available from 9:15 a.m. to noon for infants - 3 year olds. (Room 108) The staff uses age appropriate materials for teaching. During the Offertory parents often bring children back to church for a family experience of Communion.
