Gospel of Luke Story-Telling Event

Each Sunday in church, we hear a reading from one of the four Gospels. The attentive church-goer will notice that there are large sections of the church year in which we read sequentially through a particular Gospel book. This year in the lectionary, we are reading from Luke’s Gospel.
Of course, it is good to read through parts of the Scriptures every day. It is also a good and enriching experience to hear the story unfold all at once. So...
On Wednesday, July 20, from 5:30-7:30pm, you are invited to watch professional story-teller Joe Boyd present his narrative telling of Luke’s Gospel. We will show this on the BIG SCREEN in Moseley Hall, so consider a movie-night with your church family! We’ll provide pop-corn!! Doors will open at 5pm. Bring a friend!
